Simi joined Pearn Kandola in 2008 and is a Chartered Occupational
Psychologist. She works in the areas of assessment, development and
diversity. Simi has an Undergraduate degree from Leeds University and a
Masters degree in Occupational Psychology from the University of
Nottingham, where she completed research into the psychological effects
of organisational downsizing on the survivors of an international
telecommunications firm and exploring the psychological barriers
experienced by sufferers of traumatic brain injury when returning to
employment. Simi is also a Graduate member of the British
Psychological Society and is in the final stages of attaining her
Chartered status as an Occupational Psychologist.
Prior to joining Pearn Kandola, Simi worked for The Department of Work
and Pensions as a Work Psychologist, where she was involved extensively
in designing and delivering assessment and development exercises with
Job Centre Plus clients, advisers and managers. Simi has also worked as
an independent consultant for both private and public sector
organisations, and as a lecturer at Leeds University.
