A business psychologist, Partner and diversity specialist, Nic has
worked with a number of UK and multinational organisations including
British Airways, Total, Barclaycard, Royal Mail and
PricewaterhouseCoopers. Nic has also worked with a range of public
sector organisations, including DEFRA, the Ministry of Defense,
Hertfordshire Constabulary, the Training and Development Agency, the
Department of Communities and Local Government, the London Development
Agency and the South West Regional Development Agency.
Her work across the diversity spectrum includes advising on diversity
strategy, conducting diversity audits, and developing and running
diversity awareness and behavior change workshops. She also advises on
harassment and bullying interventions, including training independent
harassment investigators and assessing the impact of culture on
international teams posted in local and host countries. Nic is a regular
conference speaker on a range of diversity issues. Recently Nic has
given talks at the IRS Bullying and Harassment Conference, Opportunity
Now Conference, and The British Psychological Annual Conference, as well
as at international conferences on the impact of cross-cultural issues
on organisations.
Nic's specific areas of interest include research into the impact of
cross-cultural values on organisational issues including recruitment,
teamwork and negotiation and in 2002 she was awarded a DPhil in
Psychology for her research into the effects of minority status and
culture within multinational organisations. A chartered psychologist and
member of the British Psychological Society, Nic holds Certificates of
Competence in Occupational Testing (Level A and B).
