Barbara joined Pearn Kandola in 2008. She holds a Masters degree in Social and Organisational Psychology from University College Dublin, where she completed research into the psychological benefits of career guidance for disadvantaged job seekers.

Prior to joining Pearn Kandola, Barbara worked as a Cultural Audit consultant with the Great Place to Work Institute, assisting organisations in their effort to grow strong corporate cultures based on the GPTW best work place criteria. She also has several years experience working in recruitment where she helped to develop a candidate centric recruitment process, career development service and to redevelop the business model to prevent over reliance on executive recruitment. Since joining Pearn Kandola Barbara has been involved in a number of projects specialising in the areas of development and coaching.

Barbara holds Certificates of Competence in Occupational Testing Level A and B and holds a Certificate in Principles of Management from Michael Smurfit Business School. She is a Graduate Member of the British Psychological Society.
